Thankful

I have so neglected our blog, mostly because there is nothing to really share with the blog world. If anything I would use it to rant about the world but I don't want to offend anyone lol. I'm so happy with my life though. My husband is absolutely fantastic and I can't imagine doing anything to hurt him or ruin the wonderful relationship we have built. My dog is one of my loves, she is so little and just so damn cute I can't even get over her. The best is when Yeti is tired and will let you hold her like a little baby and she cuddles in the small of your neck. I have a great house with amazing neighbors that we love. I love my job and only hope I can obtain the skills needed to always work in medicine. I have a rock solid testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that no one can ever take from me. I have a great family that I love so dearly, my dad makes me laugh every time I talk to him and my mom is so much like me we can just talk forever about everything and my little brother is always there to remind me if I'm doing something stupid (like almost rolling his 4-wheeler down the hill ;)) I have awesome in-laws that are so giving and would do anything to help anyone. I have amazing friends that no matter how long it's been we can sit and talk like we never skipped a day.

The world is such a scary place and Satan is so real that he is doing whatever he can to rip families apart and ruin the lives of everyone he can. I have seen his hand in the lives of those close to me as well as acquaintances. I can look back at my life and see how prevelent his influence was in my darkest days. I cannot wait until Jeff and I have kids of our own but it is scary thinking about bringing the best of the best into this dark and dreary world. We are going to start trying in June of next year so hopefully by the Spring of 2013 we'll have a Bentlee/Bronx Mack to love and teach right from wrong.

Well now that I have that out of my system, we are all ready for Christmas to come. Mostly we're excited about being off work. We have nothing to open Christmas morning, we bought a new king size bed a week ago and called that Christmas this year. We asked for food storage from both of our parents and decided against presents with siblings and instead are giving the gift of "time" by going to dinner and a movie Thursday. Mack's will be in Disneyland so we'll have both dogs and then we'll hit dinner at my parents Sunday afternoon. Even though life is going about in our little routine and there's nothing exciting happening it's perfect and I wouldn't change a thing.

Oh boy!!

Wow, really 15 months since my last entry, way to go Kylee!! Well I can honestly say a lot and not a lot has happened since we got married last June. Jeff and I have been to Eden, Hawaii, Midway, Las Vegas, and Safford since June 2010. We bought a house, a dog and a truck. I got a new job. And on the same note we haven't done a whole lot, haha.

Jeff is still working in Draper at the warehouse, playing softball, playing basketball when he can and hopefully soon will start working on a farm during harvest to bring in some extra money$$ I got a job at Work Care Clinic in Salt Lake as a front desk receptionist, since starting in November I have been trained to do drug screens, physicals, remove staples from people's heads, and much more. I love my job (even though the pay is uber-crappy) and hope I can move up soon or it may come down to finding something closer to home with better benefits. In April we bought our first house. It's a townhouse in Riverton with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. We have LOVED being on our own!! We are finishing our dining room table revamp and getting things decorated and put away lol. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary by going to Jeff's softball game, but he made it up to me and took me to Epic for dinner and Leatherby's for ice cream on Saturday. This has been the best year of my life and we have learned so much about life, love and the meaning of.... Then a few days after our anniversary we got our puppy, Yeti. She's a white mini-schnauzer and we LOVE her to death. She is grasping potty training and full of life and energy. She keeps us on our toes that's for sure!! Our latest adventure is our new truck. Jeff's RX-8 was way too high maintenance for us and we've both always wanted a truck so we traded in the Mazda and got a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500. We have had a blast having our truck and can't wait to get a little mud on the tires and go camping!! Other then that we are just going through our routine, revamping our budget and saving our butts off so who knows, maybe a baby could be in the mix in the next year!!

Less then 2 Weeks!

So last night Jeff and I met with our Stake President to get our temple recommends signed. It was such an amazing experience. Knowing that we were doing the right thing and having someone we both love and respect tell us our Heavenly Father was pleased with us, it was just perfect. Earlier in the evening I went with my mom to get all of my temple clothes, I picked out my dress, robes, slippers, and such. It was kind of surreal, anyone who has known me long enough may not believe that I'm going through the temple. The last year has been the best year of my life, not always easy definately some of the hardest times ever, but the best. I have found who I am and realized who I want to be. It's hard to explain unless you've lived it. Jeff is the most amazing person in the entire world, when I sat down and told him a week after we met that I couldn't go through the temple for a while and he looked at me and said, "I'll wait forever if I have to," I knew in that moment God had sent him to me. To have my entire family be able to go to the temple with me and be able to be sealed to my best friend for eternity, there can be no greater blessing. I have to thank my best friend Aubrey publicly. Without her standing by my side the last 8 years, I don't know where I'd be. She is such a great example to me and the kind of person I want to be. Aubrey is so talanted, she is smart, funny, creative, caring, and loves harder then anyone I know. I only hope to carry some of those traits into my marriage. Thank you Aubrey, you're a beautiful, strong young women and I can never repay you for the example you've been to me!! I love you!!
Tonight Jeff and I are finishing up bridal pictures at the Great Salt Lake then all we have is to get our marriage license tomorrow and get our Ipod mix put together for our reception. I love him more then anything in the entire world and can't wait to spend forever with him! Thank you to everyone who has stood by me through the years and all of the amazing examples you have been. When you didn't think anyone was watching, I was and you all have made me the person I am today.

17 Days AWAY!!!

I have been thinking about blogging for a while now, and have just continued to put it off. I still don't feel like I have a lot to talk about but I figure I'm getting married in a couple weeks and now is better then never. I met Jeff August 6, 2009 at a singles ward weekend campout. We spent every minute we could together and got to know each other pretty well. Jeff left early that Saturday to pick up a boat on the way down and I hadn't gotten his number. I was so worried I'd never see him again or he'd never want to talk to me again. Well needless to say he was sitting next to my best friend at church that Sunday and I asked him for his phone number and we spent everyday together ever since. We decided we wanted to get married September 6 and officially got engaged September 29, 2009. We set the date to be June 8, 2010 to allow time for my brother to get home from his mission. Our colors are black, white, and hot pink and we're so ready to be married. We'll be living in my parents basement for a while and hopefully going back to school in the fall. I work at eBay and Jeff works at a warehouse in Draper. We are so in love and can't wait to start our lives together. 17 days from today we'll be Mr. Jeffrey Rodger Mack and Mrs. Kylee Fullmer Mack. I cannot wait! My brother just got home from his mission and plans are all done so now it's just the waiting and the excitement.
